CCCF 2011 Richard Cassidy Jr. “Thanks for Giving Award” to honor Dick Rusk

The public is invited to the Cass County Community Foundation’s “Thanks for Giving" Donor & Volunteer Recognition Event, Friday November 18 from 66-8 p.m at Boondockers, One Eel River Avenue in Logansport.

Live music will be provided by Steve Michaels, and there will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The 2011 Richard Cassidy, Jr. “Thanks for Giving” Award will be presented to Dick Rusk, in honor of his outstanding community volunteerism. Previous winners include Mike McCord, Richard Scott, George Stephenson, Phyllis Kingery, Jane Miller, Ted Blank and Laura Cain. 

During the event CCCF will also be awarding 5 community charity grants of $1,000 each to Cass County charities entered in a drawing to celebrate the Foundation’s 18th Anniversary.  Anyone in the community can enter their favorite local charity by completing the form from CCCF’s newspaper ad and sending it to CCCF.  Forms are also available at the Community Foundation office, 417 North St.  You need not be present for your entry to receive a grant.
