How can I dispose of appliances?

Appliances (white goods) containing CFC gas require special disposal procedures. This includes refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Call the Logansport Street Department to safely remove the gasses for a small fee. Each item must have a gas removal certificate attached to it before disposal. Other white goods (including stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters) will be picked up for city residents at no additional cost by contacting the Street Department at (574) 753-4610.
