LHS Speech Team takes second at Oak Hill

The LHS Speech Team competed at the first meet of their season, the Oak Hill Invitational, on Saturday, January 21, where they earned 2nd place. Individual awards went to: Seth Tocco and Gavien Isaacs who received 4th and 5th, respectively, in US Extemp; Avery Penn, 2nd in Declamation; Cody Kopka, 2nd in Radio; in Discussion, JD Moore, Reid Deitrich, and Chaz Rhoutsong, 7th, 3rd, and 2nd, respectively; and in Prose, Logan James 5th and Ryan Julian 6th. The team will compete next at Lafayette Jeff on January 28.
