Colton Popejoy of Star City - pictured here with mom Sara, dad Steven and sister Sadie - was the first baby of 2011 at Logansport Memorial Hospital. Born at 4:26 a.m. on January 2, Colton weighted 7 lbs 9 oz and was 21 inches long. He was delivered by Dr. Bruce Murray.

Crystal (Miller) and Jason Servies, of Pittsboro, are the parents of a daughter, Mackayla Paige, born August 4, 2010. Crystal is a 1996 graduate of Pioneer Jr.-Sr. High School. Maternal grandparents are Mollie and Jim Miller of Logansport. Paternal grandparents are Regina and the late Glenn Servies, of Pittsboro.
