Applications for the Commercial Facade Improvement Funding Program are now available to commercial business or property owners within the Logan’s Landing district. The program offers 50% matching funding up to $5,000 per property for eligible improvements.

The Logansport Memorial Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary is sponsoring a Sweetheart Getaway for two from now until February 10. The winner will receive a one-night stay to be redeemed at a time of his/her choice at the Charley Creek Inn in Wabash.

In 2012, the Cass County Visitors Bureau will be awarding two $1250 major grants, one $1000 major grant and nine $500 mini grants.  To be eligible for one of the three major grants, your grant application must be returned to the Cass County Visitors Bureau by Noon on February 14, 2012. The grant recipients will be announced on March 14, 2012.

The public is invited to the Cass County Community Foundation’s “Thanks for Giving" Donor & Volunteer Recognition Event, Friday November 18 from 66-8 p.m at Boondockers, One Eel River Avenue in Logansport.

The Cass County Community Foundation is pleased to announce a new scholarship for Logansport High School students funded by former LHS academic and athletic standout, Lance Binder who graduated in the class of 1974.

The L.H.S. Boys Swim Team is raking leaves to help raise money for the team. We will be raking on October 24,25,26 and November 1,2,3 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. and November 5 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  We will rake your yard and take the leaves to the street.  If you have any special instructions please let us know. We can rake your yard whether you are home or not.
