Elizabeth F. “Libby” Musselman

Elizabeth F. “Libby” Musselman, 96 years old, of Logansport, passed away at 8:50 p.m.  Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born April 7, 1918, in Huntington, she was the daughter of the late Dean and  Hazel Layman Kite.

On August 24, 1935, in Hammond, Indiana, she was married to Lloyd W.  Musselman who preceded her in death January 12, 2003.

Elizabeth was a 1936 graduate of Logansport High School. After forty-four years of employment, she retired from RBM/Essex Wire/United Technologies where she had worked as an inspector.

Elizabeth was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. She was a past  matron of the Fidelity Chapter No. 58 Order of Eastern Star and had served as secretary for many years. She was a current member of the Royal Center Order of Eastern Star.as well as the Essex Retirees.

Elizabeth loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law James and Rita D. Musselman of Logansport,four grandsons, James Scott Musselman, Kevin Dean Musselman (wife Nancy), Brian Michael Musselman (wife Sharon) and Darin Musselman (wife Teresa); one granddaughter, Susan Colleen Brock(Manny Manolo); thirteen great-grandchildren, Audrey Miller, Veronica Miller, Vincent Musselman, Blake Musselman, Mitchell Musselman, Meghan Musselman, Mallory Musselman, Olivia Mussleman, Lexi Musselman, Ryley Musselman, Sarah Musselman, Gracie Musselman  and Spencer Musselman; one great-great-grandchild Austin Brian Musselman; her very special niece Patricia Johnson (husband Carl Edward) of Logansport; special great-nephew Kelly Johnson (wife Betty) of Chicago, IL; special great-niece Jennifer Borager (husband John) of Racine, Wisconsin; two great-great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and one great-nephew, Mike Johnson.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Elizabeth Musselman will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Chuck Compton will officiate at the service. The eulogy will be delivered by Dawn Fisher.

Entombment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
