Jerry L. Kreamer, 66, of Monrovia passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence.

Born on March 29, 1948 in Fulton County, he was the son of Ralph Kreamer and Phyllis Brown. On February 22, 1986 he married Rufina Sanchez.

He was a 1966 Kewanna High School graduate, a 1971 Indiana University graduate and a 1981 Purdue University graduate. Jerry was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Jerry was a retired computer programmer for Steel Dynamics in Pittsboro, Indiana.

Jerry was a member of the Eminence Lions Club and he was an avid I.U. fan. He enjoyed collecting trains, antique tractors and playing trumpet.

Survivors include his wife, Rufina Kreamer of Monrovia, children, Matthew Kreamer (Lori) of Martinsville, Lindsey Bailey of Indianapolis and Michelle Spear (Josh) of Indianapolis, mother, Phyllis Pownall of Rochester, brother, Verl Kreamer (Beverly) of Kewanna and 3 grandchildren, Noel Spear, Leia Bailey and Ethan Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Kreamer and one brother, Infant Darl Ralph Kreamer.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the funeral home.

Burial with Military Rites will be performed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eminence Lions Club.
