Kay Benn, 65, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly at 8:54 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born October 9, 1949, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche Price Spitler.

On July 19, 1969, in Logansport, she was married to William J. “Bill” Benn, who survives.

Kay was a homemaker who loved her family very much. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going shopping and dancing.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Melissa Benn (Michael Brumett) and Michelle Benn (Antoine Cannon), all of Logansport; five grandchildren, Colleena, William, Alexis, Arianna and Amiah; several nieces and nephews; and three fur babies.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kimberly; one brother, Max Spitler; and two sisters, Shirley Adair and Carol Spitler.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Kay Benn will be held at noon Wednesday in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Dawn Fisher will officiate with Devon Benn delivering the eulogy.

Entombment will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
