As of 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, Logansport Police Chief Mike Clark said police were following up on a lead from a third party who indicated a man who was reported missing Monday night is in southern Indiana and is not in any danger. Clark said a silver alert was not issued because the state criteria for issuing an alert were not met, as the man was not believed to be in danger and did not have any known medical conditions. Logansport Police are looking for a 69-year-old Logansport man they say wandered away from the 800 block of Helm Street around 6 p.m. Monday, April 6. Police chief Mike Clark says the man, named Thomas, is 5’10”, 200 lbs, balding, with grey hair, a goatee and glasses. He was last seen wearing a yellow, brown and green plaid jacket, dark grey sweatpants and a camouflage baseball cap. Clark said the man does not have any known medical issues.
