Rep. Rokita (IN-04), announced that the 2015 service academy nomination process is now open.  Students can apply for nominations to the United States Naval Academy, the United States Military Academy, the United States Coast Guard Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

It is an honor and privilege to nominate young adults who clearly demonstrate the ability, intelligence, and character necessary to serve as a leader in our Armed Forces.  Reviewing these applications reinvigorates my hope for the future of our nation and I encourage students to look into the incredible journey that attending a United States Service Academy has to offer. I look forward to reviewing this year’s applications and thank all of the interested applicants for their effort,” said Rep. Rokita.

Each year, rising Hoosier leaders from across the 4th District apply for these nominations and Congressman Rokita and his staff interview each candidate to select nominees.  Applicants must receive a nomination from a member of the U.S. House or Senate in order to be admitted into most of the United States Service Academies, but a nomination does not guarantee an appointment.

Interested applicants can apply by visiting Rep. Rokita’s website:  For more information please call Rep. Rokita’s Danville office at: 317-718-0404.
