Trine University, Logansport, caters to the non-traditional student, adult student.  The University is regionally accredited and offers bachelor and master degree programs.  Classes are accelerated and are available both online and seated at the Logansport campus.  The bachelor degree programs allow up to 89 credit hours to be transferred in from other institutions, and without an expiration date.  Those who have worked for at least one year at a business that is a chamber of commerce member are eligible for a discount of up to $3,600 for a master’s degree.  Contact Betsy Beatty, Senior Enrollment Specialist, at 574.516.1218 or Visit Trine online at

Trine University was founded in 1884 as Tri-State Normal College with the main campus located in Angola, Indiana.  In 2008, Tri-State renamed Trine University, in honor of trustees Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine, to better define its mission and direction.  Trine University’s School of Professional Studies opened in Logansport in 2010.

“I would love for everyone to realize that we have plenty of educational opportunities available right here in Logansport,” says Betsy Beatty, Senior Enrollment Specialist.  “You can obtain  your bachelor and even your master degree right here in your own backyard.  Trine University is not a competition to Ivy Tech but more of a compliment to them as those students need a place to go once they have completed their two year degree.”

Trine University in Logansport has a full-time staff of two.  Lori Lange, serves as the Campus Director.  She oversees the daily operations of the campus and hiring adjunct instructors to teach at the campus.  Betsy Beatty, serves as Senior Enrollment Specialist and she recruits students as well as guides them through the admission process.  Betsy also markets the University in the community.
