George William “Bill” St. Clair

George William “Bill” St. Clair, 86, of Logansport, passed away at 10:42 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018, in Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born March 24, 1932, in Fulton County, Bill was the son of the late George Arthur and Margaret (Rans) St. Clair.

On January 21, 1951, Bill was married to Norma Jean (Miller) St. Clair, at her parents’ home in Kewanna.

Bill was a graduate of Grass CreekHigh School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Bill worked as a farmer in Fulton County his entire life. He was retired from the Caston School Corporation where he enjoyed working as a bus driver for 47years.

Bill was a member of Fulton Baptist Temple and enjoyed the fellowship of his extended church family.

Surviving with his wife of 67 years, Jean St. Clair, are three children: Marilyn Wood, of West Lafayette, Mark (Lauren) St. Clair, of Sellersburg, and Martin (Cindy Strong) St. Clair, of Iowa; six grandchildren: Aaron (Jen), Cara, Luke (Jen), John (Kim) Jeffery and Maggie; and seven great-grandchildren: Leah, RoryKate, Violet, Brantley, Evelyn, Cameron and Carson.

A funeral service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6 in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. A flag folding ceremony and honors presentation will be conducted by uniformed members of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Interment will follow in the Fulton Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 5, in the funeral chapel.
