Leonard William Overly, 75, of Cass County, IN, was relieved of suffering from failing health and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
He faithfully attended to his wife of over 40 years, Nellie Maude Stackhouse Overly, until her death in 2009.
He dutifully served in the US Army, instilling a deep patriotic sentiment in his children & grandchildren.
He may be remembered around the area as a retired fork truck driver at General Tire, church friend, music fan, talented mechanic & all around fix-it man.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Michael; daughters Andrea (Jody) Abney & Inga Overly, step daughter Robyn (Jason) Fritchey; grandchildren Nathanael Abney (Becca), Dartanyan Abney, & Francesca Abney; step grandson Jacob Bilvin (Ed Rardin); brothers Walt (Gail) Overly, Glen (Dessa) Overly; & sister Earlene Purvis,

A private burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Lucerne.
Memorial services with military rites will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Zion United Methodist Church in Lucerne.
