New Cass County Sheriff’s Deputy sworn in

Deputy Bryce Hamilton

Cass County Clerk Destry Richey gave the oath of office to a new deputy, Bryce Hamilton, of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office on May 24, 2021.

Deputy Bryce Hamilton is a 2018 graduate of Logansport High School and a resident of Walton, Indiana. He participated in the Criminal Justice Program at the Century Career Center while in high school.

Deputy Hamilton stated, “I am excited to fulfill the dream of becoming a deputy with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. I am honored to work with the other men and women of the Sheriff’s Office serving the citizens of Cass County.”

Deputy Hamilton is receiving local training and orientation before he attends the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield, Indiana.

Sheriff Ed Schroder stated, “Deputy Hamilton will be an asset to the Sheriff’s Office. Bryce is no stranger to Cass County as he has been employed as a corrections officer in the jail for the last two and a half years. This hire brings us back to full staff.”
