Lonnie Eugene Hildebrand, 62, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday February 26, 2023, in Lafayette.
Born May 16, 1960, in Logansport, Lonnie was the son to the late Herbert S. and Roselea (Hile) Hildebrand Sr.
On August 28, 1991, in Logansport Lonnie married Robin A. Conklin who survives.
Lonnie formerly worked as a maintenance worker for France Park. He graduated from Logansport High School. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, playing poker and playing bingo. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #60.
Surviving along with his wife are two sons, Joseph Hildebrand, Memphis, TN; Adam Hildebrand, South Bend, IN; Daughter, Kayla Thompson, South Bend, IN; two brothers, Herbert (Linda) Hildebrand Jr. Logansport, IN; Jeff (Lynn) Hildebrand, Logansport, IN; half-sister, Connie (Ronald) Emery, Logansport, IN; step sister, Tina Hildebrand, Logansport, IN; step brother, Rick Dirtin, Logansport, IN; step-son, Joseph Conklin, Lafayette, IN; step-daughter, Carmalina (Bobby Joe) Conklin-Burris, Kokomo, IN; step-son, Christopher Willing, Logansport, IN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death is sister Pennie Hudson, father, Herbert S. Hildebrand Sr. and mother, Roselea J. Pifer.
A carry-in, with family and friends , will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the American Legion (828 Burlington Ave, Logansport).
