Ronald C. Vinyard, 86, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on June 24, 1936, in Logansport, Ron is the son of the late Charles “Big” H. Vinyard and Norma M. (Reumler) Vinyard. In September of 1954 in Logansport, Ron married Denise A. Reed who preceded in death on October 13, 2021.
Ron retired from Matthew Warren. He was a United State Air Force Veteran and a member, and past Exulted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #66.
Surviving Ron is a son, Mark Vinyard of Manassas, VA; daughter, Lura (Arnold) Hoskins of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Sheryl Nagy of Michigan; brother, Philip (Judy) Vinyard of Florida; 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Karla Campbell.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Saturday July 8, 2023.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday July 8, 2023 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Vernon officiating.
Full military rites will be provided by the Cass County Honor Guard, prior to funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
