Caston School Corporation Cafe is providing free meals to all children weekdays May 30-June 30, 2023.

Caston Cafe Summer Feeding will be located in our school cafe starting on Tuesday, May 30. Breakfast starts at 7:30-8:30 and lunch starts at 11:30-12:30. There is no cost to attend. More information is available by contacting Alysha Marrs at 574.598.8000 ext 327 or email at

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Caston School Corporation Cafe to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. Anyone age 18 or younger may come and eat.


Free summer food service begins Tuesday, May 30 and ends Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Lewis Cass Jr/Sr High School Cafeteria. Open to ages 0-18. Breakfast served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Lunch served from 10:30-noon. This is an open site for those enrolled in summer school AND the community. For those not enrolled, you may eat breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria. Sorry, no grab & go this year — all foods must be eaten in the cafeteria. Free breakfast and lunch will be served to all kids and teens 18 years and younger at Landis Elementary. Monday through Thursday only, June 5-29, 2023. Breakfast from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Please come inside to enjoy your meals. Children must be present and all meals must be consumed on site.
