Walton Fireworks
Per Walton Main Street post on Facebook:
Walton July 4 fireworks will take place even if it’s raining, but not if lightning is occurring. According to Hoosier Fireworks Guy, this year’s main show will have to be fired manually. Unfortunately this will exclude the 24 inch shell from the show which has to be fired electronically.
The Lewis Cass parking lot and the practice football field to the west are the best locations for viewing. A special treat is planned as part of the finale this year. A 24-inch shell will be shot northwest of the bulk of the show. Look that direction after the regular finale for the streaming sparks as it rises. It will contain a multitude of colors. To their knowledge, it will be the largest fireworks shell ever shot in Cass County.
Fireworks are not allowed on Lewis Cass High School property. Please be respectful of those around you and pick up any trash you may have dropped. Trash cans will be located throughout the parking lot.
