Barbara Wandrei

Barbara Wandrei, 82, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born November 29, 1941, in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Potts) Todd, Sr.

On December 10, 1961, in Logansport, she was married to Carl Wandrei, who survives.

Barb was a graduate of Washington Township High School. A homemaker, Barb was a member of the Church of Christ at Logansport. She was an avid reader who loved solving crossword puzzles. Barb enjoyed gardening and canning the produce that she raised. Many memories were made over the years as Barb and Carl traveled near and far, including two trips to Europe.

Surviving with her husband, Carl, of nearly 63 years, are her children, Jeannie (Richard) Thomas, of Dundee, FL, and Terri (Randy) Bay, of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Martha Selck; five grandchildren, Sarah Thomas, Lindsay Gough, Sylvia Duryea, Rachel Cobel, and Heather Bay; and two great-grandchildren, Jonah Gough and Aaron Gough.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Ray Todd, Thomas Todd and Rosemary Todd.

A funeral service celebrating Barb’s life will be held at 10:3 0 a.m. Saturday, Sept.

21 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Jeff Strite officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 in the funeral chapel.
