Gary Dean Stanton, 69, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born April 7, 1955, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Paul and Evelyn (Greene) Stanton.

He was married June 27, 1985, in Walton, to Coral “Lee” (Brock) Stanton, who survives

Gary was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He was retired from National Friction.

Gary was a member of the former Bethlehem Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed yardwork.

Surviving with his wife, Coral “Lee” Stanton, is one stepdaughter, Paula (Wes) Sturgeon; three grandchildren, Juan Simpson, Kya McCray, and Adan Simpson; one great-granddaughter, RosaLee Analise Simpson; two brothers, Billy Joe (Ruth) Stanton, and James (Alicia) Stanton; one sister, Paula Stanton-Copp; three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Smith, Christy Holley and Cathy Bulick; aunt Elvira Green; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one his sister, Diane Minnick. one brother, Terry Stanton; and hree sisters-in-law, Celeste Brock, Janet Smith. and Kimberly Stanton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Wednesday January 29 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana.

Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor Teri White officiating.

Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Twelve Mile.
