Info regarding new provider for trash and recycling pickup in Logansport as of September 2025

The City of Logansport’s new trash and recycling pickup service with GFL Environmental began in September 2025.
The City of Logansport is ONLY changing trash services to City residents, not businesses.
If you have an apartment that is a triplex or larger, then the owner is in charge of your services.
If you are a commercial business in the City then the business owner is in charge of your services.
New trash and recycle totes were distributed the week of Sept. 15, 2025
If your address is currently alley pick up, it will continue alley pick up.
If you receive City services and need more info, please call Mayor’s office at 574-753-2551 or Code Enforcement office at 574-725-2812.
Trash and recycling pickup by GFL Environmental began the week of September 22, 2025
Trash pickup will be weekly; recycling pickup will be every other week. Please have carts out the night before or by 6 a.m. the morning of service.
Bulk pick up will now be the first FULL WEEK of each month.
GFL containers should be pulled off alleyway or street after your pick ups.
A Week Recycling:

B Week Recycling:
September 29, October 13, October 27, November 10, November 24, December 8, December 22, 2025

If residents want to verify their service day/week – they can click the magnifying glass to search their address, then click the corresponding color and it will pull up their day and week of service. (This option seems to work best on a desktop computer vs. a mobile device.)

Bulk Stickers
There are new stickers for extra trash bags or if bulk is set out on a non-bulk pickup week.
Refuse Bag Stickers from GFL Environmental are available for $3 each. One sticker can be put on one extra trash bag that will not fit into your bin. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE YARD WASTE.
If you have a Bulk Item that needs to go out before the monthly Bulk week you can add three stickers ($3 each) to that item and it will be picked up on your regular trash pick up day.
GFL Environmental Stickers can be purchased at the following stores:

D&R Fruit Market, 931 W Market St.
Holidays:
Thursday, November 27 and Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025 – service delayed one day for the remainder of the holiday week.
