Info regarding new provider for trash and recycling pickup in Logansport as of September 2025

The City of Logansport’s new trash and recycling pickup service with GFL Environmental will begin in September 2025.
New trash and recycle totes to be distributed week of Sept. 15, 2025
During the week of September 15, 2025, GFL Environmental will be in Logansport dropping off new trash & recycle totes. Totes will be dropped off on the street in front of residential addresses.
If your address is currently alley pick up, it will continue alley pick up. City departments will be assisting residents to put alleyway totes in the alley.
If you receive City services and have not received your GFL totes by Monday, September 22, 2025, please call Mayor’s office at 574-753-2551 or Code Enforcement office at 574-725-2812.
Pickup by GFL begins the week of September 22, 2025
Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025 GFL will begin trash and recycling pickup services in the City of Logansport.
Bulk pick up will now be the first FULL WEEK of each month.
AFTER September 22, DO NOT USE Republic Services totes after you receive your GFL Environmental containers. Leave your Republic Services totes out so that Republic Services can pick them up.
GFL containers should be pulled off alleyway or street after your pick ups.

September 29, October 13, October 27, November 10, November 24, December 8, December 22, 2025

If residents want to verify their service day/week – they can click the magnifying glass to search their address, then click the corresponding color and it will pull up their day and week of service.

Holidays:
Thursday, November 27 and Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025 – service delayed one day for the remainder of the holiday week
