Robert L. “Bob” Davis

Robert L. Davis, 93, of Walton, went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, February 11, 2026, at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.   He was born on the family farm Thursday, November 10, 1932, to Cecil E. and Mary Helen (Kunkle) Davis.   He married Joan L. Wilson on February 16, 1963, in the Young America Baptist Church and she survives.

After graduating from high school at Onward, he enlisted in the United States Navy to serve his country. Bob came home, started his family and became a lifelong farmer raising livestock, pigs especially and grain on the family farm in Walton.  He was a member of the Onward Christian Church and served as Deacon.  He volunteered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cass County for many years. He loved all of his animals on the farm especially his little dog Sophie.

Surviving family include his wife Joan, his children, James (Bridget) Davis, Joseph Davis, Jill (Airl) Coffey and John (Jaqueline) Davis.  His grandchildren include Declan Davis, Ella Davis, Jacob (Emily) Knight, Hannah (John) Bates, Austin (Kristina) Coffey, Corbin (Liz) Coffey, Chris Pegg and Ian (Karen) Pegg.  His great grandchildren are, Kellen Coffey, Amaya Coffey, Miller Coffey, Lennon Pegg and Kohen Pegg. His nieces and nephews include, Dennis and Jody Ramer, and Sue and Jim Albaugh.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Ramer and grandson, Chase Hubler.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, at Onward Christian Church with Paul Marcellino officiating.  Burial will follow at Onwards Deer Creek Cemetery in Onward.   Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Onward Christian Church.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chase Hubler Memorial Fund or Onward Christian Church in Bob’s memory.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home is honored to serve the Davis family. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
