Dora E. Ortiz, 60 of Logansport passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on October 13, 1965 in Mexico, she is the daughter of Graciela Gonzalez and the late Francisco Javier Avila.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Survivors include her mother, Graciela Gonzalez; her children, Mario Cesar Hernandez, Ramiro Hernandez, Dora Cook (Brian Bussard), Anavel Hernandez, Juan Jose Avila (Briana Davidson Avila), Graciela Cummings (Andrew Cummings), Bianca Estela Alvarez (Geovanny Alvarez) and Yolanda Marie Ortiz (Brayan Delgadillo Ortiz), grandchildren, Alejandro Guttierez, Jovani Ramirez, Jonathan Hernandez, Jeremiah Hernandez, Edward Cook, Jessie Cook, Harley Cook, Omar Ramos, Destiny Ramos, Joseph Ramos, Cesar Ramos, Valentin Ramos, Miley Avila, Mason Avila, Skylar Avila, Emma Cummings, Alyla Ortiz, Delilah Ortiz, Briella Ortiz, Araceli Ortiz, Nylah Ortiz, Oscar Ortiz and Brayan Ortiz and great grandchildren, Mazikeen Ramirez, Azrael Ramirez, Ares Ramirez, Jonah Rivers, Kristopher Hernandez, Jonathan Hernandez and Paisley Mannies.

Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
