Duane C. Watts

Duane Watts, beloved husband and father, died on May 26, 2026, at the age of 71 in Logansport, IN.

Born June 12, 2026, in Logansport, IN, to Clyde and Syliva Watts, he grew up in Fulton and graduated from Caston High School, later earning a A.S. in Computer Sciences from Ivy Tech.

Duane married Linda on November 25, 1979, and together they made their home in Fulton IN, where they raised their family. He spent 20+ years with Modine Manufacturing as a press operator, until they closed in 2008, prompting him to start his degree path with Ivy Tech at the age of 54.

Duane was known for his devotion to animal rescue, computer repair, and his love of sci-fi. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Logansport, IN.

He is survived by his wife Linda, his children Joseph (Nicole), Jason (Greg), Larry (Allison), Lora (Rick), seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and his brother Ken (Inga). He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barbara.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gundrum Funeral Home.
