
Nancy Ann (Rozzi) Cain

Nancy Ann (Rozzi) Cain, age 84, born August 20,1941 in Logansport, passed away May 20, 2026 at her Walton home. She was the daughter of Charles and Rose (Bessignano) Rozzi. Two brothers, Anthony and Bob preceded her in death.
Nancy had her first date with Jack Cain at her senior prom, and they married on September 8, 1962 and he survives. Together they had three children, Matthew, Andrea, and Mark.
Nancy graduated from Logansport High School in 1959 and from Holy Cross School of Nursing, Notre Dame, IN. in 1962. She worked the majority of her career for the doctors of Rendel, Hill & Snyder in Peru, Indiana. She finished her career as the school nurse for Lewis Cass Schools. She and Jack, along with close friends John and Nancy Gaylor and Denny and Joy Gaylor built and worked at their business, The Dog Shed in Walton. Nancy was a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Parish.
Jack and Nancy enjoyed many trips, both in the United States and abroad, even getting the chance to see her grandparent’s home in Italy. Nancy also enjoyed many trips with family to Florida and Las Vegas and to nearby places to play video poker, one of her passions. Nancy especially enjoyed special weekends away with her high school friends over several years.
Nancy is survived by her husband Jack of 63 years; son Matt and wife Laura Cain, daughter Andrea and husband Jim Crain, all of Walton; son Mark and wife Debbie Cain of Elkhart; grandchildren, Damon (Taylor) Foreman, Ellie (Mark) Vore, Austin Foreman, Blake Cain, Jackson (Maddy) Cain, Ethan (Hannah) Cain, Kayden (fiancé Makena) Cain and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Dorothy Cain, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She has four bonus grandchildren; Samuel, Isabelle (fiancé Pax), Harrison, and Oliver, who preceded her.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home, 711 E. Market Street Logansport on Thursday, May 28, 3:00pm – 7:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Parish in Logansport at 10:30am, Friday, May 29, 2026. Interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Walton.
