Scott Patrick Michael, 53 of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, June 11, 2026, at home.
Born July 12, 1972, in Logansport, he was the son of Timothy D. Michael, Logansport, and Harriet (Middaugh) Bonnell, of Phoenix, Arizona.
A 1991 graduate of Caston High School, Scott had worked at Tinnerman for over 25 years as a tool and die maker.
Scott started most mornings the same way – with a good laugh, tuned in to Bob & Tom on the radio. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. Hot rods always caught his attention, and he never got tired of talking about them.
He appreciated the simple things in life – like finding a hole‑in‑the‑wall diner that served a big breakfast. He had plenty of favorite restaurants, and he was always on the lookout for a new one to try.
More than anything, Scott loved being a grandpa. That was the part of life he was proudest of.
Surviving with his parents is his daughter, Taylor (Tyman) Hall, of Kokomo; his son, Bryce (Katie) Michael, of North Manchester; one sister, Kathy (Marvin) Pierce; and three grandchildren, Rowan, Riplee and one-on-the-way.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Monday, June 15 in Fisher Funeral Chapel. where a funeral service will follow.
