Nancy Taylor, 73, of Plymouth, Indiana, formerly of Royal Center, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Born August 26, 1952, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Wilda Aileen (Druley) Blickenstaff.

On April 11, 1970, in the Royal Center United Methodist Church, she was married to Don Taylor, who survives.

Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Pioneer High School, and her love for the Panthers carried through every chapter of her life – cheering on her children as they earned their diplomas there and also serving the school community from the front office as its dedicated secretary.

Nancy enjoyed quality time with her family, which always included cooking and baking. Her husband always called her “The Best Cook in the World”.

Surviving with her husband, Don, are her children: Rodney Taylor, of Royal Center, Indiana, Rachel (Tom) Anders, of Plymouth, Indiana, and Michael (Jackie) Taylor, of Rockwell, Texas; brother Allen Blickenstaff; sister-in-law, Alicia (Bob) Pifer; her precious grandchildren, Taylor (Ashley) Pruiett, Ann (Don) Saxton, Max Taylor, Jake Taylor, one great grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Jackson, Joyce Campbell, and Janet Shoaf, brother, Fred Blickenstaff, and sister-in-law, Sadonna Weaver.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center, with Pastor Tom Anders of Nappanee First Brethren officiating.
