Shirley Ann Grantham, 89, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Born on June 28, 1937, she was the daughter of Ruby and Lucille Horn. On October 2, 1954, Shirley married the love of her life, Clifford Grantham, in Kokomo, Indiana. Together they shared many years of marriage until Clifford preceded her in death in 2013.
Shirley retired from Hildebrandt Corporation, where she was a valued employee.
Shirley was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a special love for flowers and gardening, and she enjoyed spending time tending to them. Music was another great passion throughout her life. She and her daughter and son-in-law attended many concerts together, and Merle Haggard was always one of her favorite performers. More than anything she loved her family, especially grandchildren.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Robin (Randy) Hamilton; son-in-law, Bill Black; her grandchildren, Ashley Prophet, William Black III, and Brady Shipman; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
In addition to her husband, Clifford and her parents; Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Paige Black; and her siblings, Bill Horn, Bob Horn, Paul Horn, Joe Horn, Sharon Haseltine, and Peggy Kemp.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Wednesday, August 5, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gundrum Funeral Home, 1603 E Broadway, Logansport, Indiana, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
