Toolmaker

Logan Stampings is seeking Toolmakers. Our Toolmakers are responsible for making precision tools (such as jigs and dies), special guides and holding devices, which are then used in the manufacturing process to make products. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics. Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes. Ability to lift heavy objects and operate large machinery. Experience with quality control analysis and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Read/Interpret Blueprints
• Operating a variety of machine tools
• Inspecting/Testing tools
• Maintaining/Repairing tools
• Troubleshooting tooling issues
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to safety guidelines

Experience:

Mechanical Aptitude
Problem-Solving/Troubleshoot issues and find solutions to complex problems.
Attention to Detail/Precision and accuracy are paramount in toolmaking.
Blueprint Reading/Interpret technical drawings and schematics is essential.
Communication and Teamwork
Adaptability/Willing to learn new techniques and technologies
