Job Description
- Responsibilities include trash collection and removal, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Regular cleaning of plumbing fixtures, window glass, and stairways also required
- Requires occasional heavy lifting and some knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Must be able to climb a ladder to assist with changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures
- Assist with snow removal when circumstances require it
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Hours M-F 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Job Requirements
- Must have the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing more than 10 lbs.
- Must be able to bend over, reach downward or upward, and to wring a wet mop
- Maintain storage areas in an organized fashion
- Maintain school facilities and grounds in condition of operating excellence, cleanliness, and safety so that full educational use of the facility can take place
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to communicate with fellow employees and read English
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear all background check requirements for school personnel as required by IN state law
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear drug screen
