Pioneer Days, Colts FanFest, Relay for Life among events scheduled for June 12-14

It’s going to be a busy weekend in Cass County! Here’s a look at a few of the events on the schedule:

Colts Fan Fest at Riverside Park 5-7 p.m. Friday. Players will land by helicopter on the softball field!

Pioneer Days in Royal Center Friday & Saturday, featuring food, music, tractor pulls, town-wide garage sales and a parade that starts at 4 p.m. Saturday

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Cass County from noon to midnight Saturday at Ivy Tech Community College’s Logansport campus.

There’s an American Red Cross Blood Drive at Cass County Ford from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The State Theatre will host Rhythm, Blues and BBQ Friday night and a special screening of Gone With The Wind on Sunday as part of its 75th anniversary celebration.

Saturday afternoon, Lewis Cass takes on Lafayette Central Catholic in the Class 2A Semi-State baseball tournament at Highland Park in Kokomo. It will follow the 1 p.m. Class A game. You can catch the game on Mix 102.

Revolution Community Church and Pizza Hut will sponsor a BMX Stunt Show on Sunday evening.

There’s a benefit for London Davis at Crooked Creek Stables Sunday, featuring hayrides, horse and pony rides, a hog roast, music and more.

Wrap up the weekend with a free concert at Little Turtle Waterway during the  Summer Sundown Music Series Sunday night (weather permitting).
