Logansport Memorial Hospital and the community have seen a significant spike in respiratory infections, including RSV, influenza, and COVID-19 over the past weeks, including LMH staff. Because of this trend, Logansport Memorial Hospital will be implementing a mandatory masking protocol for the next two weeks for all staff and visitors. This will be effective immediately as of Friday, January 17, 2025. Illness rates will be re-evaluated in two weeks to determine if this can be lifted or will need extended.
Visitors will also be required to wear a mask at all times while in the building during this time. If you are a patient of LMH for any reason, you must also wear a mask. | More info
As a reminder, LMH is already in visitor restrictions due to the respiratory season and the spike in community respiratory illnesses. Visitor restrictions include 2 healthy adults at a time to visit inpatients. No children under 18 are allowed as visitors. | More info
