Mercedes Brugh has received national recognition for her glass bowl, “Willow Considers Her Options.” The bowl has been chosen as a finalist in the Niche Awards competition, an annual competition that has celebrated fine American and Canadian craft for 26 years. The bowl will be pictured in Niche Magazine and will be displayed at the Made In America Show in Washington D.C. next February.
Mercedes was also recently honored to have “Crane Bowl” selected for the GATHERING: Contemporary Glass From The Heartland. This juried exhibition at the Indianapolis Art Center showcases the best of emerging and established glass artists from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Wisconsin and will run through November 22.
