CCCF’s names new board members, year-end assets at $18 Million

Year-end figures released at the January 2016 Cass County CommunityFoundation board meeting reported the Foundation’s total assets to be over $18 million after a year of flat markets. Established in 1993, the foundation has provided grants to support Cass County non-profit organizations and scholarships to over 900 Cass County students since incorporating as a single county entity in 2001.
The Cass County Community Foundation also announced officers for 2016.
Elected officers for 2016 are: Board Chairman, Paul Kroeger; Vice Chairman, Burton “Bud” Reed; Treasurer, Keith Cole; and Secretary, Deb Shanks.
The officers will be joined by new board members, Elizabeth Billman, Matthew Lewellen, Barrie McClain, Michael Shannon, and Lisa Swaim. Returning board members include Lucy Burns, Carol Sue Hayworth, Mike Montgomery, and Dr. Herb Price.
