Alcorn announces candidacy for Cass County Auditor

Cass County resident Cheryl Alcorn has announced her candidacy for Cass County Auditor.
Alcorn is a life-long resident of Cass County, the daughter of Mike and Betty McManus. She has been married for 35 years to Ken Alcorn. They have one daughter, Misty, who resides in Jimtown with her husband Bill and their two sons, Alex and Cameron.
Alcorn has acquired over 22 years of experience in office management and local city government. She has served as secretary with Logansport Community Schools and recently served Logansport as administrative assistant in the Mayor’s Office. She has over 20 years in retail sales and accounts at the former Fox Jewelry Store and currently part-time at Minglin Jewelers. Her customer service and local government experience will be an asset to the County Auditor’s Office.
She is a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, a graduate of Logansport High School, and involved in a local women’s investment group.
Alcorn is a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) of Professional Secretaries International including the studies of Finance and Business Law, Office Systems and Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resource Management.
Alcorn said “I enjoy serving the community and would like to continue serving my hometown community as Cass County Auditor.”
