Local veterinarian and county commissioner, Dr. Ralph R. Anderson, announces his intention to seek re-election to the Dist. 1 commissioner’s seat.
A Monticello native, Dr. Anderson and his brother own and operate veterinary hospitals in Logansport and Monticello (A family practice that is in its 103rd year).
Ralph is married to Connie Anderson and they are the parents of five children raised in Cass County and grandparents of five. They reside on a tree farm in Jefferson Township.
Dr. Anderson is a 1969 graduate of Twin Lakes High School, attended Manchester College 1969 – 1971, and graduated from Purdue University with his DVM in 1976.
Ralph and Connie have been very active the past 36 years promoting what is good in this community.
Dr. Anderson believes his broad background in agriculture, medicine, business, county government, and history of this region, give him a unique opportunity to continue representing the citizens of Cass County on this legislative, judicial and executive board.
“It has been an honor to serve you the citizens of Cass County as you commissioner, councilman, and township advisory board member. We are an agricultural based community and much of our untapped growth is in that industry. I want to be certain that we continue to have representation on the board of commissioners, who can make rational, professional decisions based on their knowledge and experiences. I want to ensure that the board has a representative that has a direct interest in the health and growth of the city of Logansport, Cass County and all our towns.” Anderson said.
