Logansport Memorial Hospital’s Volunteer Auxiliary installs memorial bench

Last Updated on February 25, 2016 by cassnetwork

Thanks to a generous donation from the family of Ruby Nead, a former member of the Volunteer Auxiliary, a memorial bench was purchased by the volunteers to honor Ruby for her many years of service to Logansport Memorial Hospital. The memorial bench has been installed outside the main entrance to the Hospital, along the circle drive, with a commemorative plaque attached. Ruby Nead’s granddaughter Mary Ann Netser (seated left on the bench), joined several of the Volunteer Auxiliary members to capture a photo of the bench after it was installed.

Featured in the photo from left to right:  On the bench – Mary Ann Netser and Sandy Jacks. Back row – Mick  Jacks, Nita Brugh, Sharon Smith, John Rhodes, Ellen Bland, Dottie Quillen (LMH Concierge), Beverly Tabler, and Tammy Szarszewski (LMH Gift Shop Manager and Volunteer Coordinator).

We are grateful to Ruby Nead’s family for their contribution in her memory. This bench will be enjoyed by
visitors and patients for years to come.
