The Cass County Visitors Bureau (CCVB) is pleased to announce the launch of a new mobile app. The Board of Directors was motivated by statistics that a large segment of the traveling public depends on information they receive through their mobile devices. We worked with Bluebridge, an Indiana company, which provides a platform, APP studio and support for the app building process. Visit the Google Play Store or Apple Store on your mobile device to download the free “Discover Cass County” app. The app will appeal to residents of Cass County as well as visitors to our area. It has listings for local events, shopping, eateries, attractions, outdoor recreation, lodging and so much more! One feature that we anticipate to be widely used is the ability to direct dial from the listing to the business. The app also has a feature that gives GPS locations and a feature that allows users to share events and listings through Messaging, Messenger, Facebook or e-mail. The CCVB currently markets Cass County through print advertising and on multiple websites. We join with the Rural & Rustic and the Eastern Region Tourism Marketing groups to market Cass County regionally and we collaborate with local events through a grant process to assist with marketing funds.
