Indianapolis – In accordance with a presidential proclamation issued this afternoon, Governor Mike Pence today directed flags at state facilities statewide be flown at half-staff beginning immediately to honor the service and sacrifice of the five law enforcement officers killed in the horrific ambush in Dallas, Texas Thursday night. Flags should be flown at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset on Tuesday, July 12. Governor Pence asks businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff to honor the service and sacrifice of these five law enforcement officers.
Earlier today, Governor Pence issued a statement in response to the shootings of 12 police officers in Dallas, Texas, which left five officers dead and others wounded.
