Chip seal work by the Cass County Highway Department is underway. Over the next few weeks, drivers may encounter roads where chip seal work is underway. In most cases, the roads will remain open to traffic but drivers may encounter delays, and are encouraged to take alternate routes if possible while the work is going on. Following the chip seal, drivers should be alert for loose stone. Residents may notice some dust on roadways for a few weeks after the chip seal work is done.
