Last Updated on February 1, 2017 by cassnetwork

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College and Trilogy Health Services announced a new statewide partnership through the Community College’s Achieve Your Degree program. Achieve Your Degree is a collaboration between Ivy Tech and companies that offer tuition reimbursement, as a benefit to their employees, to pursue their education with minimal up-front cost to the student by removing financial barriers.

Trilogy Health Services currently has 127 statewide participants already enrolled at Ivy Tech, who will transition into Achieve Your Degree. In 2016, Trilogy provided education assistance to 1,582 employees.  Trilogy’s goal is to expand its educational assistance programs to offer 2,000 scholarships to employees. The company is not limiting the program of study for their employees, but anticipate most participating in health related fields.

In addition to the current employees enrolled at Ivy Tech, the first cohort of new Achieve Your Degree students for Trilogy Health Services will begin in Fall 2017 semester, with classes starting on Monday, August 21, 2017.  Areas where the program will primarily be available, but not limited to, are Indianapolis, Lafayette, Evansville and Terre Haute.

“Trilogy is demonstrating to their employees and the communities in which they serve, their investment toward continued improvement, high quality care, and long-term success. Their employees have a wonderful opportunity to earn a credential that will open doors for career advancement,” said Ivy Tech President, Sue Ellspermann.

Ivy Tech will assist Trilogy students with the college and financial aid application process, and will defer billing until the end of the semester, ensuring students take advantage of any financial aid opportunities in which they qualify. On-site application assistance and academic advising are provided by Ivy Tech faculty and staff in order to accommodate busy work schedules and ensure appropriate course schedules. In-state tuition is offered to all students regardless of their primary residence. Trilogy will assist with tuition, fee and book costs for participants.

“Ivy Tech remains one of the most progressive and easiest education partners for our employees.  Achieve Your Degree is another step toward enhanced access for our employees seeking a high quality education at an affordable cost.  Trilogy is committed to ensuring the opportunity for employees to achieve their career goals while not being strapped with excessive student loans.” said Trilogy Health Services CEO, Randy Bufford.

For those current Trilogy employees interested in the Achieve Your Degree program, contact the local Executive Director for more information.
