Trine University – Logansport recognizes Feb. 2017 Student of the Month

Last Updated on February 10, 2017 by cassnetwork

Bailey Setser graduated midterm from Logansport High School in December of 2015 and was working part time in the banking industry.  Bailey was ready to move on to the next chapter of her life and start working towards her college degree. She felt that Trine University was a great fit for her because classes were held in the evening, leaving no conflict with her working hours.

Recently, Bailey accepted a full time position at Security Federal Savings Bank in Lafayette. After moving to Lafayette she knew commuting to Logansport wasn’t going to be a good option. Luckily, Trine’s flexibility provided a solution. Bailey is able to Zoom in with her seated class and participate from her home.

Bailey said, “I love the option of still being able to take seated classes, even though I’m not physically in the classroom. Trine is the best school for someone who is working full time and wishes to pursue a degree.”

Bailey feels like she is able to balance working full time and being a full time student, without feeling overwhelmed.

Setser states, “The faculty at Trine are easily accessible and are great at communicating and following up with me on how my classes are going.  I would recommend scheduling a visit with a Trine advisor. It is never too late (or in my case, too early) to receive more education.”

Bailey is currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. After she receives her bachelor degree, she plans to continue her education to receive her MBA through Trine University. With the accelerated program offered through Trine, Bailey will receive her MBA by the time she turns 21.
