It is with great excitement that the LHS Speech Team announces that senior Lorie Flanagan has qualified for her second consecutive National Speech Tournament in Humorous Interpretation. Flanagan advanced to the final round at the District tournament, held at Hamilton Southeastern HS on March 4. The tournament will be held in Birmingham, Alabama in June. Teammates Josiah Richey advanced to the District semi final round of Humorous Interpretation and Jake Hoover ranked as 1st alternate in Original Oratory.
Flanagan and Hoover, in addition to fellow Berry Speechers Jon Raderstorf and Clarissa Luna, will compete at State on Saturday, March 11, at Fishers HS.
