Beginning May 1, 2017, the Street Department will be milling East Market Street from 6th to 25th Street and West Market Street from Heath Street to the city limits. Paving is expected to begin May 15. The project is expected to last three weeks. One lane will remain open; however, delays may be experienced. There will be no parking on East Market Street on May 1 and 2 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the first week of May, yard waste bags will be picked up on Friday only. Brush pick up will be suspended the first and second weeks of May.
