There are so many Logansport Community School Corporation teachers going above and beyond for students. LCSC is home to many outstanding educators who work countless hours to ensure their students’ success. The LCSC Crystal Berry Award seeks to acknowledge one of those very special teachers each year.
Nominations were accepted in each building, and we are very pleased to announce the 2017 winner of the Crystal Berry, Mr. Bob Iles!
Mr. Iles has taught math for 11 years at Columbia Middle School. His nomination states, “Mr. Robert Iles is the teacher I see when I imagine a model teacher. He is personable, flexible, knowledgeable, and caring. He understands that to truly reach young people, one must cultivate relationships. Mr. Iles does this not only with his pupils, but with his colleagues as well. Daily, he goes above and beyond for the students of Columbia Middle School, and I can think of no one more worthy of the honor of receiving the Crystal Berry Award.”
Logansport Community School Corporation would not be complete without the tireless efforts of our dedicated support staff.
