Trine University recognizes Sept. 2017 Student of the Month

Last Updated on September 22, 2017 by cassnetwork

Elizabeth Donnelly has worked for the State of Indiana for 17 years and loves the field she works in with the Department of Corrections. She started as a Correctional Officer and moved up the ranks to Correctional Sergeant and now serves as the Training Officer for North-Central region and Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility. Elizabeth has many personal as well as professional goals and quickly realized that in order to achieve those goals, she would need her bachelor degree.

At Trine University Logansport, Elizabeth really likes the evening classes and the small class size to have a more personal experience. While Donnelly travels a lot with her career, and is often out of town, she can still attend class through the distant learning option and not take an absence for the class. Elizabeth feels like she is on a fast track to bettering herself for her family and for her career.

Donnelly states, “It’s not an easy task to be full time everything (wife, mom, trainer, & student) but Trine makes it convenient. I currently have a 4.0 and was on the spring President’s List. I appreciate all Trine has done for me. Betsy and Lori have been great guidance and made the transition easy to becoming an adult college student.”

Trine University congratulates Elizabeth Donnelly as the September Student of the Month.
