The Logansport Street Department’s bi-weekly brush pick up will end October 20.
The annual curbside leaf vac program will begin during the last week of October. Three leaf vac crews will make 2 or 3 passes throughout the city until early to mid-December, as weather permits.
For curbside loose leaf pick-up, residents are asked to place loose leaves as close to the street as possible but NOT IN THE STREET or over catch basins. Limbs and trash should not be mixed with leaves as the vacuums could be damaged. Loose leaves will not be picked up in alleys.
City residents may also place leaves in biodegradable yard waste bags for pick-up on their regular trash day.
After October 20, the Street Department will pick up brush on a call-in basis only until Spring. The phone number is 574-753-4610.
