Train roars on with ‘Bunny Hop Express’

The Indiana Transportation Museum will again offer special seasonal train rides from Logansport and Kokomo.

The destination point will be Walton where members of the volunteer fire department will host an Easter egg hunt, a bunny hop sack race and tug-of-war. Each child will receive an Easter egg tote, seven eggs and a cuddly bunny.

Trains will only depart from Logansport on Saturday, March 17. Those excursions will depart at 10:20 a.m., noon, 1:40 and 3 p.m. from Stoney Pike on the south edge of the city east of 18th Street. On March 18, trains will depart from Allied Tube in Kokomo to Walton at 1 p.m., 2:40 p.m., 4:20 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Further excursions are scheduled on the last two weekends in March. Tickets are only available online and may be purchased at www.itm.org.
