The rail crossing at 600E and US 35 will remain closed overnight Monday. The crossing is expected to be open by mid-morning Tuesday, Sept. 11.
UPDATED:
Due to weather, the rail crossing at 600E and US 35 will remain closed over the weekend. If weather is favorable on Monday, the crossing should be re-opened by late in the day on Monday.

The Cass County Highway Department reports that there will be a one day delay in the closure of the rail crossing at 600E and US 35. The rail crew now plans to begin work on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 at around 8 a.m., and is still hoping to have work finished on Friday, September 7.
ORIGINAL POST: Cass County Road 600E will be closed at US 35 for railroad crossing rehabilitation starting after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4. The closure is expected to last until Friday, September 7. A short detour is available via 500S and US 35.
