State Senator Randy Head was the guest speaker at the Cass County Community Foundation’s annual “Pizza Party and Scholarship Reception for 2018 scholarship recipients and their families, as well as donors, board members, and volunteers. The event hosted at Ivy Tech’s Community Room was attended by over 100 people and included 33 scholarship recipients and their family members, as well as many scholarship fund founders.
In addition to Senator Head’s tips for college success, all scholarship recipients received a door prize and were entered in a drawing for $400 in Target gift cards. This year, the Cass County Community Foundation awarded 132 scholarships totaling over $331,000.
